Student Visas (157A)
Student visas are issued to people who want to study in Australia and enroll in a full time course.
Simplified formalities
Poles applying for a student visa have been assessed on assessment level 1 (AL1) and they can apply for a visa on-line.
Applicants applying on-line should ensure that their passports are valid for proposed length of stay.
AL1 students should:
-
provide official Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)
-
have access to sufficient funds; and successfully complete medical examination - chest x-ray and medical examination with one of our panel doctors. If you are applying on the internet, please ensure you include on the medical form the Transaction Reference Number (TRN). This will ensure faster processing.
To obtain a CoE students will have to:
-
meet the language and academic requirements of the institution that they are intending to study at, and
-
agree to purchase Australian health insurance for the period in which they propose to study.
Before lodging an application for a student visa please check information on the website or form.
