eVisitor and e676
Citizens of Poland can apply for either an eVisitor or e676 to visit Australia for tourism purposes.
eVisitor
An e Visitor can be applied online and is free. It allows a stay of maximum 3 months on each visit within a 12 month period from a date of grant.
e676
An e676 can be applied for via internet for a period of 3,6 and 12 months.
The length of stay granted is determined by Migration Regulations. Applicants should apply for the length of time that they truly desire, because applications for longer stays are assessed more stringently then those for shorter stays.
Applicants should ensure that their passports are valid for the duration of the intended stay.
-
Citizens from Poland can apply on-line on form 48R (Internet) and pay the Visa Application Charge (VAC) by credit card if their stay is longer than 3 months.
-
There is no application fee for e676 visa for a stay up to 3 months.
-
The Onshore Processing Centre in Hobart will receive the Internet applications and make a decision on the visa in around 2 weeks.
-
In some instances applicants may be asked to supply further documents before a decision can be made. In such instances the applicant will be informed by e-mail what documents to supply and where to forward them to.
-
Applicants granted an e676 visa will not need to come to the Australian Embassy to get a visa label stuck in their passport.
-
Applicants can monitor the progress of their application through the online monitoring facility.
-
Persons granted a visa will not require a visa label in their passport as their visa will be recorded electronically. Applicants will instead receive an e-mail or a letter notifying them that the visa has been granted and specifying visa validity and conditions.
-
If requested the client is able to produce this e-mail/letter on departure or while in transit to Australia.
